Tom has helped me with several projects including putting a short wall up, installing wainscoting and installing a new vanity.

Tom is great to work with and is very knowledgeable.

Tom repaired my roof tiles and a cracked vent collar leak at a very reasonable price. He also fixed my jammed garbage disposal.

Tom has been great to help with anything from broken roof tiles, a jammed garbage disposal, a broken freezer drawer handle and replacing lanai door trim.

We had Jason install a built in fireplace with book shelves in our Pulte Stonewater Home. We are extremely happy. Jason made great suggestions to enhance the esthetics of our vision. Jason is busy so be patient he is well worth the wait. He delivered extreme value for the fees he charged! He has a no surprises communication style.

Jason overhauled our Iris. He is extremely communicative and detailed. He shows up on time and cleans up. My husband is incredibly picky and he was very happy too!!

Jason did quite a bit of work for us last year in the middle of the pandemic and supply shortages. He was incredibly busy with the high demand at the time but worked with us to accommodate our busy schedule as well as his own. We couldn’t be happier with our custom TV wall and fire place, custom shelving, mirror framing and coffered ceilings. We have worked with other craftsmen in the past and I would put Jason and Straightline at the top of my “use again” list. Flexibility and communication is a two way street. We would be happy to work with Jason again.

I hired Jason to build bookcases and shelves in a small alcove. I didn’t mind the long wait because I understood he was very busy. He finally came a few months later and did a rush job. He did not completely do what I asked for and most of the job was botched. He worked one day to 9 at night. Shelves were crooked, edges were not finished, he used a paint that he admitted was hard to get. Rather than have him come back, I fixed everything myself including having to repaint with paint I could get. I don’t understand how most others had a good experience with him. To me, he seemed very unskilled as a carpenter.

Interviewed three carpenters and ecstatic I chose Jason. Not only was he communicative competitively priced and friendly as were his employees….he kept me updated and even took on material new to the market (the wave background). I am 100% satisfied!

We are very happy with the finished product we enjoyed them and their professional manner in working with us to get it done as quickly as possible.
